We took the Coupe outside for the first time tonight! Finnean held onto the steering wheel almost the whole time and loved pointing at anything he thought was cool. He had a blast!
This blog is my attempt at documenting this wonderful life that I have been given. It will be full of pictures of adventures, stories of the two growing boys and struggles of a stay at home mom. Enjoy.

Fun Saturday!
*******
Our first trip to the Sculpture Park in Downtown Des Moines.

The Nomad is made of giant letters. We found part of Finnean's initials.
It was so great because he led us on the tour of the art.
Easter!
They look like they could get into some trouble together!

Trip to Bloomfield...
On Friday we headed to Bloomfield for Easter weekend. We had fun at the Egg Hunt and then got in a good nap before heading to Aunt Mona's for the Reyes family dinner. It was nice to see lots of family! Finnean even got to go on the Ranger (some kind of four-wheeler to get around on the farm) to tour the Schooley's farm and check the cows. Michael said that Finnean LOVED the ride and was so happy bouncing around in the truck. He really like all the 'mooooos' from the cows and even copied them. He got to see a bottle cow being fed and even got a little muddy! Saturday night we played hard with Cousin Carter. Finnean loves to copy what he does and they ran laps around the kitchen for probably an hour. Finnean also colored some Easter Eggs and they turned out pretty cool! Sunday morning we woke up and the Easter Bunny visited! Then we took a nap and got ready for church. After church, Finnean played basketball outside and refused to hunt for Easter eggs because he wanted to play. I didn't think we were going to get him inside for lunch-but we did. After lunch we had more naps and then relaxed a little before heading back to Ankeny. It was a fun filled weekend in Bloomfield-full of Easter adventures and family! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I will get more pictures posted soon-my camera died while I was updating!!
16 months
O my...we can't believe another month has gone by. Finnean continues to thrive and make our household so fun and full of laughter...here are a few new things that is going on at the Wagler Household...
- Finnean LOVES basketball. He has spent the month of March watching tons of NCAA games and then this weekend found out that he loves to play basketball. He worked on his dribbling and his dunking at Grandma and Poppa Waglers.
- Adding tons of words...Jerry, Poppa, Grandma, Moooo, truck, car, Dad, basketball, Go! are some of the things we hear the most. I know he has more...but I can't remember them!
- He has found that he is the perfect height to look out our window and watch the traffic go by. He loves trucks and says "truck" every time a semi goes by. When we are in the car he can spot them too!
- Finnean is officially in his big boy car seats in the both cars! No more infant seat for us! He can see a lot more out of the window but still is rear-facing. He is just hanging on that 20 pound mark-we are not in a hurry to turn him around for safety reasons!
- He continues to be a super eater! We are trying new foods and eating like a big boy!
- Basically runs around everywhere!
- Has really turned into a little boy-loves playing with tractors and trucks.
- Had Jello Jigglers for the first time this Easter---he really loves them!!!!!! Thanks Grandma Lisa!
- Loves going for "walks" and loves to walk on his own
- Holds your hand when you are on a walk..it is so sweet. Michael will says- Finnean will you hold my hand...and he puts his little hand up!
- Finnean continues to be so funny and loves hanging out with his family!
First Easter Egg Hunt
We went to the City Wide Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. It was great to see family and old friends and their children. Lots of kids turned on the sunny day! Last year Finnean wasn't big enough to go after eggs-he had fun this year!
We had a great time at the Easter Egg Hunt! The day was beautiful and full of fun!
Picnic in the Park...
Last Thursday (4.1.10) we met Josh, Kaitlyn and Kaia at a park for a family picnic. It was great to catch up and the kids had fun playing hard. The only bad thing...there was a 40 mile an hour wind...that made it very interesting to eat our dinner!!
A few pictures that I forgot to add...
