The Waglers on Christmas morning...very early on Christmas morning. Finnean was so excited that he couldn't sleep in at Grandma and Poppa's...so we were up early. It was perfect because we got to hang out as a family for a little bit!

Daddy took Finnean sledding for the first time this year. They built TWO snowmen (which Finnean loved) and then they went down the big hill at the Methodist Church (all you Bloomfield kids know what we are talking about) four times!! They went with Carter, Ellie, Adam and Maddy and had a great time!

Crazy boys!! From the minute Carter got to Grandma and Poppa's the boys ran and ran and ran. They had so much fun together!

We had all of our Christmas shopping done pretty early so we decided to spend some money on ourselves and get Michael a vaccuum to match Finnean's!

Making some cookies to share with our friends! Finnean loved helping ice the cookies because he got to eat some on the job.

He did such a good job spreading the frosting on and loved adding the sprinkles!

He made a sweet train with his legos...not sure why he looks so upset!

Santa!!!

Aunt Ellie and Carter were up for a couple of days so Finnean took them to the library that he goes to for a little Christmas fun! This is Carter showing of his sweet snowman magnet he made!

Finnean's first look at Santa this year. He ran right up to him and didn't seem scared at all. We think it helped that cousin Carter was there to show him that it was okay. Carter said he has been a very good boy and that told Santa what he wanted for Christmas!

Finnean didn't do any talking to Santa but he did show him his penguin shirt and stood there for a while...no tears...I think it was a success!!

Christmas is coming...

Finnean thought it was SO COOL to help put up the Christmas Tree! He was very excited to see the "BIG" box in the living room.

Slowly growing...he was so pumped.

Michael and I bought the reindeer ears probably five years ago. Who knew we would have a little guy who would enjoy them so much! He loves wearing them around the house!

Helping Dad get the skirt on. After this he helped carry every ornament from the box to the tree. Swinging some of them on the way...but no ornaments were lost in the decorating!!

The end of Birthday Week...

This is a cool birthday present that Finnean got from the Blanchards....a bathrobe!!! The crazy thing is....Grady's Grandma MADE it! So cool! Abby thought he looked like a little boxer, I think so too!

We had a little pizza party with a few of Finnean's friends to finish up the week. He loved playing hard and even blew out the candles on his own this time!!

Finnean and Grady with fistfuls of rice crispy treats. They are getting so big and spent most of the night running, chasing, tackling and shooting hoops! I really only got pictures of them sitting still althoght not much of that was happening. Our house was full of laughter and the perfect way to end Finnean's birthday week.

December 2nd

On Finnean's actual birthday day we headed down to Valley Junction to have dinner at a little coffee shop, Green Grounds Cafe (check it out!!!) and to look at the lights and go on the horse-drawn carriage rides. It was a hit and so much fun...check out how old he looks in the picture below...
