Sculpture Park

Finnean and I headed downtown with Daddy, he went to a meeting and we ran around the beautiful sculpture park. Doesn't he look old here?

He was looking at the rabbit sculpture. He kept saying bunny, bunny, bunny. Then he was saying snack. The bunny has his hand up by his mouth and apparently Finnean thought that he was eating a snack!!

No idea what is going on here...but I love his expressions!

He found an acorn and loved it! He threw it as far as he could, would run and get it and then do it again, all over the park. We got our exercise!

The Sculpture Park is just awesome.

More adventures...

Finnean and Daddy braved this huge slide. It all started out well and then Finnean ended up head first around the corner and was a little roughed up...but he made it!

He has started sticking out his tongue more recently? Silly boy.

Fire Station Trip!

Finnean and I were invited to join a play group's adventure to the Windsor Heights Fire Station. He was a little overwhelmed at first and was pretty much stammering with excitement! Then he figured out he could touch anything and he loved all the gadgets and LOVED the BIG trucks!!

Hmmm...

Everything was so heavy! He tried to pick up the hose but it was too heavy!

He hopped up into the ambulance with the help of a fire fighter and was having a great time and then he realized that I wasn't right there and he was scared...that would be the face that I got on camera :(

He loved driving the "BIG TRUCK!"

All of the gear was so big...made him look so small!

All of the cool truck and then Finnean spent 10 minutes feeling the textures on the walls of the building. That is something Michael is always showing him...so he was just checking it out for Daddy.

The fire fighters gave Finnean a coloring book and crayons and he "worked" all the way home!

We have been hitting up parks this past week. It has been so beautiful and we are soaking up the sunny evenings!

Hi Daddy!!

He loves to help me get ready in the mornings now that we are home together. He was trying on shoes on this day!

We had to make an earring delivery and got a back stage tour of News Channel 8 studio. This is us sitting at the news desk!! Thanks Katie!

Silly boy! Michael said that he loved playing ball at the park!

The other day Finnean wanted Cheerios for snack. So I gave him Cheerios in a snack trap so he would not spill them. Obviously, he did spill them because he wanted to take the lid off! So...he sat on the floor and ate his snack. He kept telling Jerry "no!" so he would not eat any!

Weekend Adventures

We went to Cory and Abby's housewarming party on Saturday. Finnean looked like such a big boy in his little outfit. It just blows my mind how old he is!!

Finnean did great at the party until he tripped over some shoes and busted his lip open. He was crying and Abby asked him if he wanted a cookie :) Of course he wants a cookie. We knew he was okay because he ate the whole thing through the sniffles.
