Getting closer...

Hutchinson turned TEN MONTHS old on Saturday.  He is just full of life.  He is getting so funny and remains to be the happiest little guy that I have ever met!  He LOVES to stand up.  You find him pulling up on anything he can get his little hands on.  At Grandma's this weekend, I found him in his crib...standing up.  He was so proud!!  He also signed "more" for the first time this month and it was legit...not to mention so cute.  It seems as if he answers you sometimes when you ask him things.  He still says hi and I think he says Dadda a lot.  I tried to convince Michael that he has it mixed up and is calling me Dadda, but I think I am sadly mistaken...still no "Momma."  Silly boy :)  Is is getting faster at crawling and is playing with toys more.  He is kind of over "baby toys" and would rather play with hot wheels and anything Finnean is playing with.  He loves the water and loves taking a bath.  He is getting louder and loves to be heard!  He loves his family and still has not had any stranger anxiety yet.  He loves to "play" with babies his age and talks to them when they are playing.  He is an explorer and still loves to go for Jerry's food BUT he does stop when you tell him "no-no"-even if it is just for a few seconds.  It gives you a few extra to get there to redirect him! :)  He loves his Daddy and Michael can almost always get him to go to sleep if his is fussing.  He loves his brother and wants to do everything he does and watches carefully-so he can soon.  He loves me too :)  His eyes light up when I smile at him and that makes my heart so full.  We are STILL nursing!!  Two months to go.  Hopefully he will decide that he is going to drink out of a cup by then...or he might be one thirsty boy.  Right now he just splashes whatever is in his cup onto the floor, rather quickly :)  He is a good little solid food eater but isn't quite sure about the texture of some foods and picking them up himself.  Hopefully he will catch on soon.  He is still wearing size 3 diapers and mostly nine months clothes.  He is probably still kind of "small" on the growth charts but seems so healthy to us :)  He is growing so fast and makes our hearts so happy.  I can't imagine our little family any other way.
Helping Miss Abby open some presents :)
Oh, those eyes!!

Stretch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the mohawk!

You can usually find him like this or pulling up on something!
Happy, happy Hutchy.
A top tooth is almost through (and has been making him not the best little sleeper the past two nights!)
Grandma and Hutchy-
I think Grandma is one of his favorite people.  When we were in Bloomfield the other night, he was fussing and wouldn't go to sleep.  We brought him down stairs and gave him to Lisa.  He looked around like, "Yes! I knew she would rock me!!" It was so cute and he looked so happy...so did she :)  I love how both of the boys and Carter too, can make her smile!

This picture really captures him right now.
So old, sitting up at the table (I was close by---just in case!), enjoying the weather and smiling!

Memorial Day Weekend

We were in Bloomfield for a quick visit.  Grandma Lisa has a little pool and the boys loved splashing in the hot weather!  Hutchinson LOVES it!  Finnean spent the entire day outside playing while Hutchinson and I enjoyed Abby's baby shower :)

Brothers!
I love this picture.  They look so old and so dang happy :)

I love this face.  He looks so surprised!

YUM!
Finnean helped Poppa make some homemade ice cream and this is them enjoying it!
We came back to Ankeny on Sunday and had dinner with some friends across the street.   The boys swam and we visited.  Monday we relaxed and hung out together and then headed to the big pool.  Finnean was timid to say the least.  He was SCARED! Poor guy.  We want him to take safe risks, so we basically made him go down a little, tiny slide.  Michael said he "may or may not have pulled him down" :) Whoops!  We showed him how to have fun by taking turns going down all the big slides.  Finnean LOVED cheering for us as one of us would shoot out of the fast slides!  It was pretty cute and I think that eased his fears of the pool.  At the end of our time there, he said that he had a lot of fun and wanted to come back :)  Sweet boy.  Hutchinson loved it and didn't mind getting wet at all!  Whew-we are tired after that long weekend!  They both slept in until 810 this morning...whoooo :)

It is HOT!

Last week it was pretty warm here so we decided to fill up the little pool for a little splashing! This is Finnean checking the water for us...it was cool but it didn't stop them!

Little Hutchinson LOVES the water.  I could not believe that he wanted to splash around in it but I guess Finnean was in there, so he was going to be too!

I love Finnean's big smile...he loves when Hutchinson gets in on the playing!

So brave!!!

Holy post-a-lot!!

I am OFFICALLY up-to-date on the blog.  The last picture that was snapped on the camera was tonight and it is on here! Whew!  I am hoping that our computer doesn't crap out on us again and that I can keep it updated!  So keep scrolling and click "older posts" when you get to the bottom.  I hope you enjoy the adventures that we go on, I know I love sharing them.

Sooo big!

Look at Hutchinson's new trick!!  I put him up there but he can stand up and drum with the big one!
He is going to be an old pro at pulling up before we know it!

Pure joy that he is up there with the big boy!

Hutchinson is so big that he gets to read books in the big one's bed!  He isn't real interested in nursing before bed because the big boys are over there reading books!  Tonight I let him join in on the fun, I am guessing that will be our new routine!  I love how Michael and Finnean are so seriously reading and Hutchinson is just smiling at the camera!!

Cousins!

Hutchinson getting some love from big cousin Carter (he has his last day of Kindergarten tomorrow!!)
Hutch loves watching what Carter does.

While Hutch watches, Finnean does anything that Carter does.  They spent the weekend playing basketball, golf, football and baseball.  They LOVE to be outside and played so well together!
I think this is the cutest picture of them :)

Graduation!

Michael and I went to my cousin Sullivan's High School Graduation this past weekend.  It was wonderful to go and see her big day and took me back to when we were young lovebirds...many moons ago!

Go Sullivan!

Seeing her graduate made me feel a bit old...as I was ten when she was born!!

My sweet cousin Sheridan and my Aunt Mary with the graduate!

This is our old high school.  Where Michael and I met...

We used to chat in this hallway...make me smile just looking at it!
Love you, Michael Wagler!!

Nine month photo shoot (okay...9 1/2 months)

So I have struggled to get a photo shoot in of this little nine month old but we got it taken care of.  It doesn't matter if he is 9 1/2 months old...he is still ridiculously cute!  He has continued to get stronger and pulling up on a few things here and there.  We noticed tonight that he has a top tooth poking through!  I also forgot to mention the best Mother's Day gift ever...Hutchinson started waving at people and saying "HI!!!" while we were at the park.  It was so cute and pretty darn funny! Enjoy this sweet boy and his pictures!
Love that happy smile.

Punk rock Hutch.
It was super windy this day and he was showing off his scrunchy face!

 :)

Hutchinson loves to sit on his knees and bounce around.  If there is music he really gets going...he loves to dance!
Love the curiosity on his face!

So big!!

I have no idea what the issue was but love this expression!

Hey Dad!

Scrunchy face for the grass crawling!  He would go kind of slow and very slowly put his hand in it, but he crawled all around:)

It is pajama time!!

Trying to get Finnean to give him some cheerios!

Going for Jerry's food...Hutchinson's main goal in life!

Seriously, they are so stinking cute.  I think we will by buying more matching pjs for the boys!!
:)

Hutchinson is getting so big!!

Look at how curious this little cat is!  Hutchinson has changed so much just in the last few weeks.  He is so fast at crawling around and pulled up to standing for the first time this week.  He is just so curious and loves to talk.  We can't wait to see how he changes in the next few months before he turns ONE!

Hutchinson has a play date!

Hutchinson loved having his little friend over.  Lucas is just a month younger than him so they had a lot of fun rolling around on the floor.

Look at how sweet little Lucas is!

Playing hard!!

Mother's Day weekend!

My boys are always sweet to me but they were extra sweet to me on Mother's Day weekend.  We just spent the whole weekend together, hanging out and just being together.  It was awesome!
They also got me a massage at my favorite place, only have a few more days before I get to enjoy that! I am so grateful for these amazing boys and my awesome husband :)
Finnean and his map.  Pay attention to this map...you might see it again!
As you can see, we started off our weekend at the Blank Park Zoo.  Finnean's mission was to see the giraffes-which he did get to see :)

The boys LOVE the otter :)

The look so little in this big egg.  We explore the Australian outback and got up close with an emu!

Family :)

 :)

Hutchinson's first train ride!
The boys!

Hutchinson loves snuggles from Daddy.

He might be the happiest guy I have ever met!

:)

This is Hutchinson's new smile.  Kind of a scrunches his nose up.  Silly boy!

Back to the old smile :)
Our guide.

Finnean is reviewing the map...he carried it around ALL morning. He loved the map!

That evening we had a picnic outside, the weather was amazing!!

He cracks me up that he can be so serious sometimes and then so smiley others!

Finnean's little neighbor friend is letting him borrow his bike.  Michael and Finnean tightened up the training wheels before his first ride...

SO BIG!
I love the determination on his face!

He loves his Spiderman helmet but is not too crazy about the bike.  We will work on it this summer :)

Sunday morning we headed out the High Trestle Trail Bridge.  It is an old train bridge that had been turned into a trail.  It is amazing!!!

We got in a 3 mile walk before noon :)

Love these sweet boys!

Cheers!
We finished off the afternoon with yummy ice cream treats from an little place called the Filling Station in Woodword...SO good:)

He was one worn out little boy :)
We finished up the weekend by a picnic in the park.  Watching ducks and playing.  It was an amazing weekend and I loved just being together.
