Could Cozmo be...

...a girl?!?!
I have been convinced that Cozmo is a baby boy since the get go but last night I was on my way to a consignment sale and thought "what if Cozmo is a girl...we don't have anything pink!?!"  So I decided to take a chance that Cozmo is indeed a baby girl and buy this super sweet pink onesie!

What do you think..is Cozmo a BOY or a GIRL?!  Take the poll to let us know!  You can also leave a comment to tell us what you think!  We only have about 17 more weeks until we all find out :)

Park Time!

The wind was cold but the sun was out...Finnean wanted to show Daddy the new "baby park" that we found a couple weeks ago.  It is perfect because the equipment is made for 2-5 year olds, which means Finnean can't fall 9 feet off of it!!

I think they went down this slide about 50 times!

RUN!
Peek!

:)

Ready to go down the slide!!

So old!

Cuties!

What do you think?  Should we go down?

FAMILY TIME!

Carter and Finnean getting ready to go swimming at the hotel!
Carter was WAY more excited than Finnean to get in the water.  Finnean was a little slow to warm up but did end up jumping off the side of the pool to Michael after Carter showed him how to do it!

While everyone finished up swimming Finnean got a bath and into his PJs before getting to....

...snuggle with Aunt Maddy!
It was so fun to see all of the Waglers this week.  It was a great treat to see everyone and not have it be a special occasion!

Grady + Finnean = Best Buds

Finnean and Grady have turned into two little boys rather than little babies.  It is so fun to watch them grow together and learn from each other.  We get to have a playdate most Wednesdays and I know we all look forward to it each week!  Grady has been showing Finnean the ropes of how to be an awesome big brother!

We are members!

Handsome boys!
On March 6th we became members of the church that we have been attending and getting involved in.  We are excited to become "official" members and to have found a church home.

Grandma and Poppa Wagler came up to celebrate the milestone with us.  This is Take 1 of trying to get a picture of these two boys!
The Waglers with Pastor Kevin.  Finnean even decided to join us for this picture.  Pastor Kevin just told him that he should have ice cream for lunch so he was a little more focused on having ice cream than taking pictures!  He did get his ice cream, thanks Cory!

Take 2
This is the good one of Poppa.  Of course we can't get them both to smile at the same time!

A few more pictures of St. Patty's Day 2011

Lounging after a big nap...

That's FUNNY!

Cozmo has been on a growth spurt over the past two weeks.  I think my belly has grown by 5 inches since our last belly picture.  This is Cozmo at 21 weeks.

Finnean loves to give Cozmo kisses.  Most of the time it is out of nowhere that he comes up to give him a kiss.  It is so sweet!

Silly boy!

Finnean was full of energy this day...doesn't it look like energy is coming out of his finger tips!?

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We started off our St. Patrick's Day by making a picture to take to Daddy.  Finnean loved to paint and really loved using the glue stick to make the "clouds" stay on.  He was convinced that the the shamrocks were leaves but finally decided to call them shamrocks!  He loved the rainbow!!

Then we headed downtown and had a picnic with Daddy before walking over to the St. Patrick's Day parade.  Finnean loved all green shirts!

The fire truck was the best thing in the parade!

Ready for a nap!
The parade starts at noon and that is getting close to his nap time.  You can't tell herevbut he was so excited to be at the parade and to see all the people!

A little about Finnean...

  • He loves to... paint, draw, color, flying rocket ships that he has made out of Legos, give Jerry kisses, RUN, be outside, get the mail, help cook anything, chocolate, read books, ice cream, fold laundry, talk on the phone, be with friends, play trains, look out the window, watch the windmill that is by our house, "do it my-self" and snuggle in the mornings.
  • He does not love to...eat veggies, say "I sorry" (it is hard being little), sleep without a light on, say goodbye.
  • Lucky for us he is still a pretty laid back little guy.  His little personality is hilarious and makes us smile.  We have our moments of chaos but we are having a blast.
  • He loves his "baby Cozmo" and is always telling my belly "Hi Cozmo!!" or giving it a hug.  He is so caring, we are so excited to have him meet his little brother or sister in July!
  • Things we hear around our house:
    •  "Cool socks Daddy!" Or "Cool shirt Mommy!"  He is very observant.
    • "Snack PLEASE!!"  I swear he could eat all the time.
    • "E'cuse me Jerry!"  Trying to get Jerry to move out of the way.
    • "Jerry NO!"  I wondering where he hears that!
    • "You snuggle me?"
    • "I have choc-late for snack?"
    • "You wanna go shoot basketball?"
    • "That's awesome."
    • "I do it my-self!"
    • Just yesterday this was our conversation:   Mommy:  "Who are you talking to?"  Finnean: " I not talking on the phone I texting Michael Wagler."  Really?? We have to cut back on the phone use at our house.

Visit from Cousin Josh!

Josh, Finnean and Michael are all smiles :)
Michael's cousin Josh was in the area from California this week and he made his way to our house for a visit.  It was great to go to dinner and show Josh all the changes that have happened in Des Moines in the past few years.  Finnean warmed right up to him and loved playing catch with Josh!

Being sick is no fun!

Jerry taking care of little Finnean.
Earlier this month Finnean developed croup.  At 10pm he coughed one time and by the morning it was full blown.  We went to the Urgent Care and they gave him steroids to take to help with the swelling in his throat.  You could just tell it hurt him so bad to cough.  As you can see in the picture it was a sad sight.  He laid on the couch that whole day and then slowly gained energy over the next week.  We are glad that it is completely gone.  It definitely got worse before it got better!  He is back at full-strength and full of energy!!

Fun with Daddy!

I work every other weekend right now and I am pretty sure that many hours are spent playing Legos while I am gone.  When I come home, Finnean is always telling me about what they built.  Pretty intense stuff.

A tunnel, of course.
Tunnels are very cool at our house right now.  This is before the earthquake happened.  Not much standing after it happened!

Daddy and Finnean went to check out the Boys State Basketball Tournament on Friday night.  Michael said that Finnean loved all the people and of course, the basketball!

Pretty sweet view.

So excited!  Not only did they got to the game but they got to see the Capitol Dome at night.  Double cool!

Break Dancin' Finnean

We have no idea where he learned this but it is guaranteed to make you smile!

We are 1/2 way to meeting Little Cozmo!

20 weeks
We went for our 20 week check up and ultrasound today.  Finnean came with us and thought it was pretty cool to see Baby Cozmo and thought it was awesome to hear the heartbeat.  We didn't find out what gender Cozmo is...I was very tempted for some reason today BUT we didn't. I still think it is a boy:)  The heartbeat was at 154 and Cozmo weighed in at 11 ounces!  He has been moving all around and the kicks are getting stronger.  I am pretty sure that I have seen the baby moving while sitting down.  It is so crazy!  We are so excited to watch the belly grow and can't wait for Baby Cozmo to join us in July!

Finnean

Finnean loves to play trains.  He has been putting them "to sleep" each night when we pick up toys.  They all end up very nicely lined up.  It is pretty cute!

Finnean was maxing and relaxing one morning.  Snuggled in with "Mama Bear".  His new favorite random stuffed animal.

PEEK!
This toys looks like hollow logs and you can hide in them.  He loved "scaring" me!
Finnean got on News Channel 13 while we were at the Science Center.  He was waving and smiling right up until they said and "we are back..."  Then he just stood there looking scared!
Last week I really got some cleaning done and even broke out the hose to vacuum the base boards.  I look over and this is what I see.  Finnean was doing EXACTLY what I was doing.  He even turned his little vacuum on.  He is such a good helper!
Painting a masterpiece.
Love that smile.
