Hutchinson is ONE MONTH OLD!

One month.  My goodness time is just flying by when you are surrounded by two fun, little boys.  We have been on many adventures to Bloomfield and had trips to Daddy's work.  We have had lots of visitors and had lots of snuggles.  Hutchinson is doing great sleeping (from about 10-11pm to 2-4am) and then nurses and back to sleep for another 3-4 hours.  He seems fussier that we remember Finnean.  Maybe it is the reflux (which we are not convinced of) or maybe he is just a little fiesty-er.  Who knows.  Thankfully we get to tackle the crying spells together (they can last a while-but once he relaxes he is sound asleep).  Finnean thinks he is "really loud" sometimes but likes it more when "he's happy" AKA not crying!  Hutchinson has started being awake more and is more alert.  He tracks your voices and seems to enjoy looking at Finnean, Mommy and Daddy.  He hasn't had too many close ups with Jerry...yet!  He is fitting nicely into 0-3 month clothes and the newborns are about to be put away.  He wears size one diapers and we have been battling a diaper rash, so we switched to sensitive wipes.  He has to be close to ten pounds. He is a pretty good nurser but sometimes gets so mad and arches his back that he won't nurse (again with the reflux??)  Overall we are doing pretty good (the sleep is helping), just trying to figure out what our new normal is.  Some days I don't do anything but take care of Finnean and shush Hutch and others we actually get some housework done. We are trying to learn how to get out the door in a timely fashion and get everyone around.   I am sure at some point we will figure out what we are doing!!  We are all totally in love with our new guy and are so excited to watch him grow...but not too fast!!!
What!? A month old? Already!?

Love!

Our two handsome boys.

Whew.

I absolutely love this boy.  Look at those sweet cheeks.

Love this one.  He is such a little round peanut!

Thanks Miss Stephanie for my awesome handmade owl onesie!

The pictures before did not portray this but this screaming mad Hutchinson is what we dealt with for most of the evening.  We decided that we need to do our photo shoots in the morning!  Screaming or not...he is still pretty sweet stuff!

YUM! Fresh picked berries!

Yesterday we headed to The Berry Patch to pick our own blueberries.  When we got there we found out blackberries were in season so we started there.  We had to walk a little ways but it was worth it.  It was like Finnean was finding treasure!  Hutchinson did great in the Moby and I accomplished my mission...to take both boys to do something fun by myself!
First pick!

He really got in there and LOVED finding BIG, HUGE blackberries!

We didn't know that blackberries were red before they turned.  We made sure not to pick them if they were red!

LOVE!

Finnean looks so old here.  He had to walk the whole way since I was carrying Hutchinson in the Moby wrap.  He did great and found most of the blackberries on his own.

Filling up...

After the blackberries we headed to the blueberry bushes.  They were right at the end of the season so not as plump as the blackberries but it was just as fun to hunt for some.  We hope to make blueberry muffins tomorrow!

YUM!!

I love this picture.  I can't ever get him to take pictures with me-I think this picture captures how much fun we had together!

Lunchtime!!  He had four handfuls for lunch...he loves them!

Did you know that if you click on the picture it comes up bigger?  Try it!  Especially on the baseball pictures!

Brotherly Love

Poke!!
I obviously let Finnean know it is NOT okay to poke his brother!

"Too loud!"
We hear this from Finnean all the time.  He doesn't like sirens or when his friends yell too loud or if you raise your voice.  So he doesn't particularly like it when Hutchinson really cries loud.  The funny thing is Hutch was not even crying yet-Finnean was just being prepared!  Finnean gets so sad when Hutchinson cries and wants me to make him be quiet ASAP!

They have a bond already---just melts my heart!

Sweet summertime...

This weekend the Murphy's had a huge grill out.  They did it up right with great food and tons of fun.  They thought of every detail and had plenty to do for the kids.  It was a blast and we vote it should be an annual event!  We got to visit with a lot of our friends and meet some new people!  Thanks Murphys!
Hutchinson getting some love from Miss Megan!

Big blue eyes.

Finnean and his friend, Matt.

More silly faces.  He played so hard for almost four hours!
Peek!

Mommy and Hutch-
thanks for the great picture Kelcee!

Love this boy!

Family Photos!

In a picture below you will see Michael's funny face...I think Finnean gets this from him!!
The super old looking big bro.

Pictures from Michael's childhood prove that he often made a funny face while his mom attempted to get a good picture.  This proves that even at 30 he still has it!

The Waglers

Mom and the little one, sweet baby boy.

Getting some love the big boy!

Hutch hearts his Daddy!

Finnean loved playing in the water...this is his attempt at being cute while trying to get rocks...something we told him NOT to do :)

Gotta love this face!

Happy 30th Birthday Daddy!

Happy Birthday to my amazing husband!  We are so grateful for all he does for us, all the love he gives us and the fun we have together.  We celebrated with some friends last night and we are all taking a trip to Kansas City in September.  Michael and I are having a date night at the Foo Fighters concert (thanks Lisa B. for helping make this happen!!) and then the next day was are going to the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead to let Finnean run around and do all sorts of cool stuff on a farm.  We are so excited to take our first "big" trip together!
We love you Michael Wagler!!!

Around the house

It is exhausting helping big brother color.  Last week we were working on Michael's birthday present and Hutch just had enough!
3 weeks 2 days old

Sweet boy.

Iowa State Fair-2011-Nothing Compares

Of course you have to ride in a big tractor!!

The Cattleman's is the perfect place for dinner because you can watch horses on the street right out side of there...Finnean loved the horses!

Spin art rocks...

DUCKS!
Goodness I am one lucky girl to have such cute boys!

Do you think they look alike?

Silly boy would not smile at the camera---on purpose!

That is one big rice krispy---he loved it.  He even shared with Michael!

Snack time with Grandpa Stevie!
It was great that my dad is working up here and could join us at the fair.  Finnean didn't leave his side the whole time.  He loves his Grandpa Stevie!

Goofy!

Checking out the pictures.

Little Hutchinson's first State Fair.  We are setting him up to be able to go every year of his life!
This picture was taken right before I told someone that he was born on the 24th of July.  Whoops-I guess I was tired.  Michael was sure to correct me and he is still really new...it is the 26th!!!!

Looking cool with Grandpa Stevie!

Last snack of the fair.  We had a big bag of fresh Junior Donuts, so yummy and so messy!

Finnean was in charge of the bag and loved handing them out.  He did not like getting his hands all messy and was consistenly brushing the sugar off.  With all the work he was doing I think he only ate one!

Love Finnean's face in this one!

Back for one more round of Spin Art.
We had an awesome time at the State Fair!!
