Last Saturday we attempted to go to the Main Street Iowa Challenge Grant Presentation at the Botanical Center. This was the first year that Michael was in charge of it and we wanted to support him...Hutchinson slept and slept that morning, so we arrived right as it was over. We still got to visit with the MSI team. Hutchinson got some snuggles and Finnean ran around like a crazy man! Then we hit up the Botanical Center to check out all the plants and snap some pictures (more on those later!).

| Then Hutchinson headed over to Thom and was just as relaxed as could be. Lounged with him for quite some time. We all had to chuckle because Finnean has been afraid of Thom for quite some time :) |

| Senator Harkin was at the presentation and he was nice enough to chat with us for a few minutes. He loved talking about Finnean and was singing all kinds of Finnean's Rainbow's songs. He raved about Finnean when he met him 3 years ago (for a flashback, look here) and couldn't believe that he had a little brother now! |
