Update and Playdate...

Update:
We have been so busy the past couple of weeks. Finnean attended his first bridal shower (Laura, a great friend from high school will be getting married in October!). He loved all the ladies and was very well behaved! We have been to dinner with friends and even made it to church this week! It felt good to go back, it had been a while though! We are looking forward to a great weekend and Finnean's first Iowa State Football game! I am sure that it will be an adventure but it will be fun! We will keep you posted and I hope to post more reguraly. I have added many posted in reverse order...so you might want to scroll to the bottom and come back up!

Some of the new things Finnean can do: say DaDa (he says it all the time) it is riduculously cute, blabs about whatever he is thinking, "plays" with Jerry, loves going for walks, started daycare, eating more table foods, pulls up anywhere on anything, can "vroommm" when he is driving his trucks, working on more teeth and has been fussing around (in addition to lack of sleep from the new daycare). Over all it has been a very happy and fun few weeks!
Grandma Sandy and Uncle Tim...Do you remember this chair? I remember it always being at Grandma's House. This was my rocker from when I was a little girl. I haven't given Finnean my blankie from when I was little -it is need of some repair. We might have to call Marcia in on that one! Michael "plans" to refinish this special chair but it hard to find the time when you want to play with the cutest little guy in the world in every spare minute!

Finnean with his little friend Miss Kaia.
She was so nice and shared her comfy couch with Finnean. She also showed him how easy it is to walk around and play with everything! Kaia is getting so big!

Kaia and her parents just moved back to Des Moines and we could not be more excited about it! We love hanging out with them and always have lots of laughs together. We are looking forward to many more play dates in the future!
